From picnicking in parks to visiting free museums, there are plenty of ways to save money like getting a tax refund on touristic purchases of over €100. Refunds are not available for things such as tobacco, cars, or weapons. The refund can be claimed immediately at the airport or by post. Don’t forget to complete the refund formalities at customs till 3 months following the purchase.
